Baogang targets significant growth in 2023
China-listed Inner Mongolia Baotou Iron & Steel (Baogang) expects to increase various measures such as steel production and income this year, Kallanish learns from its 2022 work reports and exchange filings.
In 2023, the company plans to produce 14.77 million tonnes of pig iron, 11.2% higher than 2022. Crude steel and finished steel output is expected to rise 12.8% and 12.6% on-year respectively, reaching 16mt and 15.14mt.
