Baotou reports increased steel exports in first half
According to the Baotou government website in China’s Inner Mongolia, the Baotou Iron & Steel Group exported almost 1.33 million tonnes of steel products in the first half of 2019, up by 26.8% year-on-year. That compares with national steel export volumes which dropped by -2.6% y-o-y, Kallanish notes.
