Baodi expands iron ore mining, processing capacities
The Songhu Iron Mine upgrade and expansion project in Xinjiang Province, invested by Xinjiang Baodi Mining Co. Ltd, has been put into operation, Kallanish notes.
The mining capacity of Songhu has been boosted from 1 million tonnes/year to 1.5m t/y after the expansion. At the same time, Baodi's processing capacities will grow to 3.06m t/y from 2.56m t/y, to produce more high-grade iron with Fe content over 63%.
