Banker Steel heads up Manhattan One Vanderbilt project
US steel structural steel fabricator and erector Banker Steel has snagged the contract for the One Vanderbilt project in New York City, Kallanish learns.
The One Vanderbilt office building is sited immediately next to Grand Central Terminal and will consist of a 1,464-foot, 1.6 million square-foot building. Banker Steel will handle the fabrication of over 26,500 short tons of structural steel slated for the project, which is expected to last until 2020.
