Bangladesh Steel Re-rolling Mills studies new plant
Bangladesh Steel Re-rolling Mills (BSRM) is carrying out a feasibility study into the construction of a new steel plant in Mirsarai Economic Zone, Chittagong, the company tells Kallanish.
The firm says it is too soon to reveal any details about the project. Media reports however suggest the plant will be a 1.8 million tonnes/year crude steel capacity joint venture with China’s Kunming Iron and Steel Holding Company.
