Bangladesh eyes developing Dinajpur iron ore mine
The Bangladeshi government aims to develop the Dinajpur iron ore mine after deposits were discovered in the Hakimpur region of Bangladesh. Barapukuria Coal Mining Company (BCMCL) has inked a pact with German-based DMT Consulting to start a preliminary study for the development of the iron ore deposit, Kallanish notes.
