Balakovo begins universal rail, structural mill construction
MZ Balakovo, part of the Novostal-M metallurgical holding, will begin construction of a universal rail and structural mill complex, the company says.
The unit’s capacity will be 1.2 million tonnes/year, Kallanish notes. Total investment in the project is estimated at RUB 50 billion ($681 million). Completion is scheduled by 2025.
