Bahrain’s Unirol resumes operation with rebar price increase
Bahrain’s sole rebar rolling mill, Universal Rolling (Unirol), has increased its 8-32mm rebar quote by BD 10/tonne ($26.5) to BD 290/t ($771) ex-mill for March rolling, excluding 10% VAT, Kallanish notes.
The company had suspended its production due to natural gas pipeline maintenance and inspection in Bahrain for almost seven days effective mid-February. Following the completion of the work, the company resumed operation this week.
