Bahrain's Unirol begins Saudi exports
Bahrain’s only rebar rolling mill, Universal Rolling (Unirol), has received a standard conformity certification from Saudi Arabian authorities, allowing it to export its first batch of rebar to its much larger neighbour.
The certification means Unirol’s rebar confirms to Saudi Standards, Metrology and Quality Organization (SASO) ASTM A615/2018 standard.
In 2019 the re-roller increased its rebar rolling capacity from 200,000 tonnes/year to 275,000 t/y.…
