Bahraini rebar mill completes capacity expansion
Bahrain’s only rebar rolling mill, Universal Rolling (Unirol), has completed its rebar rolling capacity expansion from 200,000 tonnes/year to 275,000 t/y, a company official tells Kallanish.
The firm also now has the capability to roll 150mm square billet, meaning it can procure feedstock from Bahrain's sole crude steelmaker, Sulb Steel, which is also based in Hidd industrial area.
