Bahraini pellet exports slump, billet shipments surge
Bahraini exports of agglomerated iron ore, mainly pellet produced by Bahrain Steel, fell -33% on-year in September to 525,459 tonnes, according to Information and eGovernment Authority data monitored by Kallanish. Their average value was $143/tonne versus $129/t in September 2018.
