Bahrain Steel expects output growth, Fe content improvement
Bahrain Steel expects iron ore pellet sales to reach 9.8 million tonnes in 2019, up 23% on-year, thereby cementing its performance recovery after low sales in 2014-2017, says sales and marketing manager Stig Nordlund.
From 2020 the firm will increase the maximum Fe content in pellet production to 67.5% from the current 66.7%, Nordlund said at the first Saudi International Iron & Steel Conference in Riyadh.
