Bahrain rebar retail prices increase steadily
In Bahrain, rebar prices in the retail market have been increasing steadily by $10-15/tonne every three days on strong demand over the last 2-3 weeks, Kallanish notes. This week, 10-32mm diameter rebar imported from Saudi Arabia (Al Ittefaq Steel) and United Arab Emirates (Emirates Steel) is offered at BHD 335-340/tonne ($890-904), excluding 10% VAT.
