Bahrain rebar starts December with hike, as expected
Bahrain's only active rebar mill, Unirol, has increased its rebar price from BD 240/tonne ($652) to BD 245/t, delivered on a 60-day LC basis, due to cost pressures, and secured a deal at the higher price.
Retail rebar prices for imported and local material have risen from BD 245/t to BD 260/t since last Saturday, which was expected, Kallanish notes.
