AZZ acquires Canadian galvanizer
Galvanizing and coatings services provider AZZ Inc is expanding its metal coatings capabilities into western Canada with the purchase of DAAM Galvanizing Co. Financial terms were not disclosed, Kallanish notes.
DAAM operates galvanizing facilities in Edmonton, Alberta, and Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, and a service depot in Calgary, Alberta.
Once the acquisition is complete, Fort Worth, Texas-based AZZ will operate a total of 42 galvanizing sites in North America.
