AZR to restart North Carolina zinc refinery
American Zinc Recycling (AZR) plans to restart its Rutherford County, North Carolina, zinc refining facility early next year, Kallanish learns from a company statement.
The facility, which was shuttered due to fire damage in April, will return to full production of 155,000 short tons/year of special high grade zinc metal during the first quarter, AZR says.
