Azerbaijan's steel production falls in 2019
Steelmakers in Azerbaijan reduced output in 2019, show data from the country’s State Statistical Committee.
Production of finished steel amounted to 61,300 tonnes, down by -27.9% on-year, Kallanish notes. The output of rebar fell by -11.8% on-year to 32,000t.
However, production of steel pipe increased by 77.4% on-year to 5,500t.
