Chinas automotive steel demand disappoints again in August
China’s automotive production saw another weak month in August, with year-to-date production figures down year-on-year for the first time since February 2009. The sharp slowdown has sent steel demand growth for the sector down significantly y-o-y, Kallanish calculates.
