Austrians supply SSAB Hardox for critical US infrastructure
Austrian materials fabricator Winkelbauer has secured a major order from the USA for the supply of extremely hard steel parts for the protection of critical infrastructure.
Winkelbauer works with Hardox steels from SSAB, using them mostly for wear parts on utility vehicles for construction and agriculture. The application for protection is a relatively new field for the company, located in Anger, eastern Styria.
