Australia’s Matmor ironmaking tech to sign first project
Environmental Clean Technologies (ECT), an Australian firm with a patented ironmaking process, is due to sign a joint venture agreement with Indian iron ore miner NMDC and coal miner NLC to build a steelworks. The India-based venture would be the first commercial-scale plant using ECTs Matmor ironmaking process and would own rights to the technology outside Australia, Kallanish notes.
