Australia’s Equatorial acquires Nimba Alliance iron ore project
Australia-listed Equatorial Resources Ltd has completed the acquisition of Singaporean private company Companhia Rio de Ferro (CRF)'s interests, including the Nimba Alliance project.
Equatorial bought 100% of the issued capital of CFR, which held 100% of the Nimba West permit, covering 198 square kilometres and 56% of Nimba North, spanning 107km2.
The Nimba Alliance project is within a cluster of major iron ore projects, notes Kallanish.
