Australia rejects coking coal exploration of Fox Resources
The Queensland Minister of Resources in West Australia has refused a coking coal mine exploration application by Fox Resources in the north of the Bundaberg region, Kallanish notes.
Resources Minister Scott Stewart said the project was not in the public interest. "This is particularly in relation to the potential negative environmental, agricultural and social impacts in the Bundaberg region", he said.
