Australia provides loan for Pembroke’s Olive Downs project
Pembroke Resources has received financing from the Northern Australia Infrastructure Facility (NAIF) to develop the Olive Downs coking coal project in Queensland. NAIF will provide a loan of AUD 175 million ($131.6m), Kallanish notes.
The investment will be used to support the mine's first-phase development, including rail and transmission lines, water pipelines, access roads and a coal-handling preparation plant.
