Italian crude steel output rises again in August
Italian crude steel output increased again significantly in August after rising in previous months, according to data issued by local steelmakers association Federacciai.
Last month, crude steel production rose by as much as 44.3% year-on-year to 1.3 million tonnes, Kallanish notes. Output also hiked in the first eight months of the year, by 27.5% on-year to 16.3mt.
