European stainless alloy surcharges fall for August
Alloy surcharges in Europe are decreasing month-on-month in August as previously forecast after having risen in May, June and July, market sources confirm to Kallanish.
Surcharges have been subject to on-month increases since the beginning of 2018 (see Kallanish 15 June). However, they are now falling due to lower nickel prices.
