Atlas Tube lifts tubing base prices
North American tube producer Atlas Tube is raising base prices for its mechanical, structural and piling tubular products by $40/short ton, Kallanish learns from a company letter.
The increase is effective immediately, retroactive to the letter’s dating of 25 February.
All current orders will be price-protected through 25 March.
The $40/st increase echoes increases made this month in sheet, plate, and A53 standard pipe.
