Atkore sees steel pricing pressure
US tubing and electrical infrastructure producer Atkore International saw a dip in its first-quarter sales due to dropping steel prices though the company’s overall profits increased, Kallanish reports.
In the fiscal 2020 first quarter ended 27 December, Atkore earned $7.8 million in Q1 on sales of $447.4m - up 29.1% and down -1%, respectively, from fiscal Q1 2019.
