Atkore expands margins as skelp prices rise
Diversified infrastructure products producer Atkore International Group recorded a net profit and margin gain in its fiscal third quarter despite an uptick in skelp pricing, Kallanish understands.
Atkore – which makes electrical raceways and fence and sprinkler tubing – posted a profit of $20.6 million on sales of $395.7m in Q3, up from a profit of $19.1m on sales of $432.4m in Q3 2015.
