Asteel narrows losses in Q3
Malaysian steel processor Asteel Group has reported lower net loss in the third quarter due to better margin, Kallanish notes.
The group says in a bourse filing that its net loss narrowed to MYR 2.87 million ($620,000) in the third quarter from MYR 4.28m a year ago. The lower loss was due to a better gross profit margin of 10.3% achieved during the quarter as compared to 7.2% recorded in the corresponding quarter.
