Assofermet sees higher-grade scrap shortage in April
Italian steel trade association Assofermet noted a slight price decrease for domestic and international scrap in the beginning of April but substantial stability for the rest of the month.
In Europe however the price fall has been contained for high quality grades compared to both the previous month and to other qualities. This is due to a shortage of supply, Kallanish learns from the association’s monthly market report.
