ASEAN longs markets suffer price declines
Prices of domestic billet in Vietnam are under pressure after a domestic blast furnace producer lowered its billet prices, Kallanish notes. In Manila, two recent deals for Chinese-origin wire rod indicate that suppliers are aggressive to lower prices for deals.
Formosa Ha Tinh has reduced its monthly domestic prices for 130mm square 5sp billet for November shipments by the equivalent of $20/tonne to $400/t cif Vietnam, Vietnamese market sources report.…
