Ascometal replaces Dunkirk steelmaking with Saint-Saulve
Ascometal, the French special steel supplier, is set to shut its steelmaking plant in Dunkirk in northern France at the end of September. It will feed the remaining rolling lines with semi-finished products from the Saint-Saulve plant that it now controls in partnership with Vallourec.
