Ascometal nears acquisition of Saint-Saulve mill: reports
The completion of the acquisition by French special steel producer Ascometal of a majority share to control Vallourec’s Saint-Saulve steelmaking mill is expected in the coming weeks, local sources report.
The two companies have been in negotiations regarding this project since the summer (see Kallanish passim). While a final agreement was expected by Ascometal and Vallourec by the end of 2016, local media now suggest that the signing of the deal is imminen…
