Argentina’s steel production, consumption to fall in 2019
The Argentinian steel sector will end 2019 with a -10-15% decline in crude steel production and consumption, says national steel association Cámara Argentina de Acero (CAA) president Martín Berardi.
The executive, who is also ceo of Ternium Argentina, was speaking during the opening ceremony of the 60th congress of the Latin American steel producers' association in Buenos Aires.
