Argentina's government awaits new plan for Sierra Grande
Chinese-owned MCC Minera Sierra Grande, the sole Argentinian iron ore mine, is expected to submit a plan to restart mining operations, Pablo Espinola, secretary of the mining department in the Rio Negro state, tells Kallanish.
As reported, MCC Minera stopped production in January this year due to difficulties in the market, Kallanish notes.
