Argentina's crude steel output falls again in May
Crude steel production in Argentina continued to fall year-on-year in May, Kallanish learns from national steel association Cámara Argentina del Acero (CAA). The reduction is the result of a general negative performance by domestic industry, down by -2.3% y-o-y in May, and the automotive sector in particular, in which production shrank by -14.2% y-o-y in the same month.
