Argentina crude steel production remains weak year-on-year
National crude steel production increased month-on-month but continued to be well down year-on-year in October 2016 according to statistics published by Argentinian steel producers’ association Cámara Argentina de Acero and monitored by Kallanish. Pig iron output followed a similar pattern. Hot-rolled and cold rolled products meanwhile moved in opposite directions in terms of both on-month and on-year development.
