Argentina extends scrap export restrictions
Argentina has decided to extend again for an additional year from 23 December 2020 restrictions imposed on scrap exports, according to a decree published in the Official Gazette and monitored by Kallanish.
According to the Argentine government, the re-establishing of the measure is due to structural reasons. Authorities also want to recover scrap for environmental reasons, while its international trade has increased significantly in recent year…
