Arch Resources' record profitability continues into Q2
US metallurgical and thermal coal supplier Arch Resources' profitability is holding strong in the first half of this year, with second quarter earnings reaching a record high for the third consecutive quarter.
St. Louis, Missouri-based Arch Resources' Q2 performance resulted in earnings reaching $407.6 million on sales of $1.13 billion, up from earnings totalling $33.2m on sales of $450.4m in the same period last year.
