ArcelorMittal's 2020 profitability improves, eyes higher 2021 sales
ArcelorMittal says 2021 shipments should increase on-year on an adjusted basis excluding the impacts of the ArcelorMittal USA sale and deconsolidation of ArcelorMittal Italia. Global apparent steel consumption (ASC) is seen growing 4.5-5.5%. This comes after consolidated shipments fell -18% on-year in 2020 to 69.1 million tonnes.
