ArcelorMittal/Bekaert Brazilian joint venture extends investments
Brazilian wire producer Belgo Mineira Bekaert Artefatos de Arame Ltda (BMB) will extend its investments with the building of a new production beading wire line in Itaúna, in Minas Gerais state, according to a note monitored by Kallanish. The project was also confirmed by the mayor of Itaúna municipality Neider Moreira de Faria. BMB is controlled by ArcelorMittal (55.5%) and Bekaert (44.5%).
