ArcelorMittal Zenica to restart EAF during BF overhaul
ArcelorMittal Zenica will restart its 100-tonne electric arc furnace (EAF) during the relining of its blast furnace (BF), the Bosnia-based integrated long steelmaker tells Kallanish.
The steelmaker will thus maintain a secure supply of billet "... to ensure full operation of the rolling mills," says ArcelorMittal Zenica's spokesperson. "Our finished goods production will continue as normal during the shutdown," she informs.
