ArcelorMittal to lay off workers in Pennsylvania
ArcelorMittal will temporarily lay off workers at its Monessen coke plant, located in the southwest region of Pennsylvania, Kallanish reports.
The temporarily layoffs will go into effect on 5 July and will affect 92 of the plant's 181 employees, according to a notice filed by ArcelorMittal in Pennsylvania.
Layoffs at the Monessen facility were reported as temporary - however, ArcelorMittal adds that the layoffs may last longer than six months.
