ArcelorMittal to build electrical steel plant in France
ArcelorMittal is to invest €300 million ($330m) into a new electrical steel plant at its Mardyck site in northern France. Scheduled to start in 2024, it will produce 200,000 tonnes/year of product for use in manufacturing engines for battery electric vehicles (BEVs) and hybrid vehicles.
