ArcelorMittal Temirtau utilises nut coke to cut costs
ArcelorMittal Temirtau has implemented the use of nut coke – 10-25mm fraction coke, considered unsuitable for blast furnace use – for its pig iron production. The project allows for annual savings of around $0.6 million, the company says.
