ArcelorMittal Temirtau outlines major investment, upgrades casters
ArcelorMittal's Kazakh steelworks Temirtau is set to produce 4.5 million tonnes of steel products in 2019, the company says. The company is planning to ramp up its crude steelmaking capacity to 5m t/year by 2020, and has signed a road-map agreement with local government to invest KZT 305 billion ($813 million) in its mining and steelmaking assets in 2018-2020.
