ArcelorMittal Temirtau reports multi-year-high rebar production
ArcelorMittal's Kazakhstan-based Temirtau steelworks registered the best result in 2022 of the last 14 years in the production of rebar, the company says.
Volume amounted to 436,000 tonnes, Kallanish notes, with shipments at 427,000t.
Earlier, ArcelorMittal Temirtau restarted production at is continuous casting machine No.1 (CCM-1) after a major overhaul, which will improve the efficiency of the unit’s operations (see Kallanish passim).
