ArcelorMittal extends rail supply deal with Deutsche Bahn
ArcelorMittal and German railway company Deutsche Bahn (DB) have signed another contract for rail deliveries until 2018, and are also cooperating to develop new rail products together, Kallanish hears from the steelmaker.
DB will receive rails from ArcelorMittal´s production facilities in Spain and Poland, totalling an annual amount of up to 147,000 tonnes or 2,500km in length. Future deliveries include 120-metre long rails from Dabrowa Gornicza in Poland.…
