ArcelorMittal Spain agrees temporary layoff scheme with workers
Spanish union UGT tells Kallanish it has agreed with ArcelorMittal to apply a temporary employment regulation scheme (ERTE) following the fire that occurred at blast furnace A at the Gijón plant on 22 March. According to a settlement between the sides, the ERTE could affect 7,000 workers.
