ArcelorMittal restarts Fos hot strip mill after breakdown
ArcelorMittal confirms to Kallanish the hot strip mill at its French plant of Fos-sur-Mer is currently in the process of restarting after an accident stopped it last week.
“One of the engines in the hot strip mill broke down last week,” a spokesperson from the company said on Wednesday. “Fos had a spare part available and is repairing it now, as of last night, the HSM was scheduled to restart either today or tomorrow.”
